Red Card! 49ers Kicker Eddy Pineiro Attempts Blatant, Dirty Slide Tackle On Seahawks Player, Fails Miserably [VIDEO]

He couldn’t even complete the tackle he got flagged for.
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Rashid Shaheed exploded for an opening kickoff touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers.
On the opening kickoff, the wideout, who Seattle acquired at the trade deadline, took the ball 95 yards to the house. He almost didn’t make it, with kicker Eddy Pineiro being the only one there to stop him.
Instead of trying to tackle him the right way, Eddy Pineiro tried a slide tackle that missed completely. What made things worse is that he was flagged for it.
The trade was already a win for the Seahawks, so Shaheed’s clutch return in the playoffs is just icing on the cake. The Seahawks sent fourth- and fifth-round draft picks to the Saints for Shaheed.
